Prior to joining CM Wealth, Isakov built a distinguished career in public accounting and professional services leadership. He previously served as managing partner of BDO’s Cleveland office and, before that, as Cleveland managing partner of SS&G, a nationally recognized top-100 accounting firm. As a certified public accountant, Isakov brings deep expertise in financial reporting, tax considerations, governance, and organizational oversight, which informs his measured, disciplined approach to advising clients on both strategic and day-to-day financial matters.
Isakov is deeply committed to community service and nonprofit leadership. He serves on the board of the Sisters of Charity Health System, where he is chair of the audit committee and a member of both the investment and finance committees. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the board of trustees of Hospice of the Western Reserve. Isakov’s civic involvement reflects his belief in prudent governance, fiduciary responsibility, and giving back to organizations that serve the broader community.
Outside the office, Isakov enjoys staying active and values time spent pursuing personal interests, including pickleball and cycling. These pursuits, along with his professional and community engagements, reflect his belief in balance, discipline, and long-term perspective—qualities that guide his work with clients and colleagues alike.
